These jars are numbers 20, 21, 22 and 23 of the quarts of tomatoes I’ve canned in the last week. Tired of tomatoes. 25 pounds still to go.

My mom made this camera for me when I was very little. I was thinking about it a lot lately, so I dug around and pulled it out. I still adore it.

Most of this weekend has been dedicated to working on our respective books, but Scott and I stole most of this afternoon to wander around the countryside and visit the Moravian Tile Works in Bucks County. What an amazing place!

The sunset was just amazing tonight. After work, I had a massage (thanks to Groupon and their recent deal with Knead Body Boutique) and as I was driving home, the sun was a vibrant, orange sphere that seemed to be so huge that for a moment I wasn’t sure what I was looking at. The picture doesn’t capture it particularly well (I was driving and it took a moment for me to wrestle the camera out of my bag and then have an opportunity to stop and shoot), but truly, it was a transformative sky.
